Pregnancy and Childbirth Education Classes During your stay at the hospital, before and after the birth of your baby, we are available to help you with your questions and concerns. . Staying healthy during your pregnancy is of utmost importance to you and to your family. We offer childbirth classes with veteran mom and childbirth educator Karen Hostetler. Karen's classes are designed to help reduce the fear, tension and pain associated with the birth process. Learn about the care of your newborn, work through both physical and phychological preparedness techniques, talk about breast feeding, infant nutrition and safety in a small group setting with trusted friends. For this most important step in life, being as prepared as possible is the right way to begin. Karen and JCHC are here to help you with that preparation.

Schedule for 2008
One Day Classes - Class is held in the med-ed room at Johnson County Healthcare Center. Class starts at 9am and runs until 4pm. There will be snacks provided and an hour lunch break.
