Our Facility
Johnson County Healthcare Center includes a 25-bed acute care hospital, a nine physician medical clinic, and a 50-bed long-term care facility, including a six bed special care unit. JCHC employs over 180 health care professionals.

Our Services
JCHC offers a full range of medical services, right here in Buffalo, including 24 hour emergency care, hospice and home care. We have an ultra modern surgical unit, labor/delivery rooms, and nursery, as well as life saving diagnostic equipment in our laboratory, radiology, physical therapy, and respiratory therapy departments.

In addition to family physicians, JCHC offers a General Surgeon, and Oncologist on active staff. Visiting specialists see patients in our clinic on designated days. Labor and Delivery
We understand the excitement of a new addition to your family and have created a friendly, comfortable atmosphere for this experience. Our obstetrical department boasts new suites for the entire Labor, Delivery, and the postpartum period so the new mother can stay in one room for the entire visit.
The newborn is also a priority, and state of the art equipment is only a few steps away in our nursery, just waiting to give your baby a great start. At JCHC, managing regular deliveries, and offering C-Sections is something that we enjoy doing.. . JCHC allows for mothers to have their newborns "room in" with them, or you can let us watch your baby while you stay.

Surgery
We pride ourselves on providing quality patient care by taking the time to get to know our patients before surgery and treating our patients like family. The same friendly faces will be with you continuously during your surgical experience.
We offer a wide array of General Surgery, Orthopedics and Obstetrical Services in our spacious modern surgical suite. We also provide an Endoscopy area for our expanding need for diagnostic and preventative procedures

Intensive Care
Our Intensive Care Unit/Cardiac Care Unit is capable of caring for cardiac, trauma, and special care patients with 4 monitored beds and 2 telemetry units using state of the art equipment. We have the capability of treating acute MI's (heart attacks) with the "clot busting" agents for reducing heart damage. Nurses working in ICU/CCU are ACLS certified with ongoing education available to the staff. Staff education in the newest medical treatments is a priority at JCHC.

Oncology (Cancer Treatment)
We are proud to be able to provide chemotherapy treatments to cancer patients. With an Oncologist and certified Oncology nurses on staff, patients can have their treatments in Buffalo without having to travel to another city or state. Most patients are able to have chemotherapy as an outpatient, in our comfortable chemotherapy room. JCHC can also provide treatment to inpatients as well.
