        Our Lab conducts hundreds of tests, from simple to complex, and, in most cases, we can provide same day test results -- often within an hour.  We provide doctors with over 100,000 results a year that are needed to accurately diagnose and treat patients.
JCHC Laboratory is accredited by JCAHO (Joint Commission for Accrediting Healthcare Organizations) and all of our Medical Technologists (M.T.) are ASCP board certified.

Physical Therapy

      Our staff works closely with families and patients diagnosed with stroke, orthopedic disabilities, neurological damage, arthritis, back problems, burns and wounds.  The goal of our staff is to restore and maintain a patient's ability to function independently.

Respiratory Therapy

     Our respiratory therapy staff supplies comprehensive services including ventilator support, electrocardiograms (EKG's), cardiac stress tests, holter monitoring, pulse oximetry, and sleep disorder evaluations.  In addition, pulmonary function testing, carbon monoxide breath testing, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication and patient education is available.

Radiology Department

We offer diagnostic x-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, computerized tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), bone density measurements, and mammography services accredited by the American College of Radiology and the FDA.

Full Time staff includes Radiologists and registered Radiologic, Mammography and Ultrasound technologists.

Audiology & Speech Therapy

      Office Hours:   Mondays and Thursdays    9 am - 4 pm

Our In-house audiologist/hearing aid specialist provides testing, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with hearing concerns. Audiology services include: hearing evaluations from infants to elderly, dispensing and fitting of new hearing aids, and, cleaning and arranging for repair of hearing aids.

Speech and language services are availale for people who have communicatin difficulties or an impaired ability to express themselves. the speech therapist is available by appointment to that portion of the population not served by other agencies.

 

Dietary

A dietitian is available by appointment for nutritional education and counseling. Our dietary staff serves nutritious, home-cooked meals and accommodates the special dietary needs of patients and residents.

Patient Education

A full-time registered nurse provides information on health issues to our patients and the community. CPR training, diabetic education, cardiac rehabilitation, individual wellness counseling, and help in applying for financial assistance from pharmaceutical companies are a few of the services open to patients.

Pharmacy

Our registered pharmacist consults with doctors, responds to emergencies, and works hand in hand with every department in our facility.  Services include:  Chemotherapy, infusion therapy in the home, IV pain management, IV therapy, and administration of intravenous nutrition.
